Inspiration: Factory Fifteen "Bulb".

Bulb is a short fiction set in both virtual and physical space.
Bulb explores the notion of time through spatial conditions.
Bulb questions the actual and the imaginary synthesising impossibilities alongside reality.

I like the idea of two different worlds - real and imaginary - coming together, when the actual plot covers the explosion of thoughts and how it affects the life of the subject.

Inspiration: Tony Hill - Camera Obscura.

Two images burnt together?
[year 2000; starting from 1:18]

It's like overlooking few places at the same time.

An experimental documentary which draws sounds and images from the Dartington Hall Estate and constructs an idiosyncratic portrait.

Grand Entrance.

At Meanwhile Gardens.
Tried a controlled movement, both backward and forward.

Backward.

Forward.
I think this one is more successful.

A world behind the fence.

"Here, There and Back Again."

Along the pathway,
from lamp to lamp,
across the grass,
from bench to bench
and back again.

Invade - intro

Small instruction on how to view the Zone.

What makes a place - a place, instead of just a space?

A small story.

It was a usual day. Nothing's out of ordinary.
I was walking through the park, the one i visit every now and then.
I stopped to look at the water, when "BAH!
What? Who is here?"
I look around, but no, i'm alone.
Finally relaxing, i continue down the path.
You know, those weird creatures called humans walk really funny.
How come they never notice... me?

P.s. Good writing is supposed to evoke sensation in the reader -
not the fact that it is raining, but the feeling of being rained upon.

Second try at Narrative Filming.

Done in Meanwhile Gardens.
I wanted to use the place i found during my previous visit - just next to the canal and the staircase - but there's currently some repairs work going, so i switched to the closest place.

Backward motion. Single viewpoint.

Same, but shoot from three viewpoints.

However, i feel i'm still not grasping something in the last video.
Need to work it out step-by-step.

Sound at the speed of 800.

I grouped together footage i've taken so far.
Speed up to 800.
Listen to the surreal sounds.

Second version done in cartoon style - one of my ideas being sketch drawings of location with the action only in selected area - the Zone.

Inspiration: Advantages of hand drawings.

Storm wave.

Shot in Holland Park during Case Study Walk.
Kinda reminded me of Tarkovsky's first scenes from "Solaris".

Following water.

Alongside Grand Union Canal.
